Our Excelitas site in Göttingen is the centre of excellence for the development and production of photonics solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this highly demanding market, the Göttingen site supplies highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging.

In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a broad range of optical and mechanical components, including complete optical systems, to support scientific research and development as well as industrial production.

Your Responsibilities

• 
  Programming the system controls and defining process parameters

• 
  Setting up the respective coating equipment according to specifications

• 
  Qualifying coated optics using standard measurement technology (e.g., spectrophotometers)

• 
  Commissioning and optimizing new processes in collaboration with the coating development team

• 
  Continuously monitoring process parameters such as temperature, pressure, deposition rate, and plasma characteristics during the coating process

Your Profile

• 
  Completed vocational training as a skilled worker, e.g., precision optician, industrial mechanic, or a comparable qualification

• 
  Basic knowledge of vacuum and coating technology

• 
  Solid technical understanding

• 
  Experience working with SAP (ERP system)

• 
  Confident use of MS Office applications
